Andrea was born and raised in Chula Vista, San Diego. With Tijuana a short drive from her hometown, she stayed closely connected to family in Mexico. She attended Dual Language Immersion schools and participated in organizations such as MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán). Prior to joining our team, Andrea worked as a cannabis equity advocate.
She enjoys creating through fiber art and other mediums and discovering new brunch places.

Max was raised in Los Angeles, California and moved to Portland in 2020. The son of a Cuban immigrant, he enjoys helping people navigate processes that his family once had to go through. Before working at Portland Immigration Law, he gained experience working at a different Portland-based immigration law firm.
Outside of work, Max enjoys cooking, hiking, and playing the mandolin.

Born and raised in Kyrgyzstan, and having studied in the U.S., Eswatini, and Japan, she has long been passionate about the intersections of culture, politics, and migration. Her personal journey as an international student deepened her commitment to supporting others navigating the U.S. immigration system. Orungul conducts in-depth country conditions research and hopes to help ensure that the stories of our clients are understood and heard.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, playing the guitar, and playing chess.
