Mara Bauermeister
Immigration attorney Mara Bauermeister joined Portland Immigration Law in 2022. She is passionate about immigrant rights and providing the highest quality legal services. She speaks English and Spanish and proudly provides legal services in both languages.
Background
Mara graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School Magna Cum Laude in Spring 2022. She has her B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from University of Portland. During law school, she clerked for Oregon’s Federal Public Defender and Multnomah Public Defender. She also volunteered for Al Otro Lado, Lawyers for Good Government, and Innovation Law Lab providing pro bono legal support to asylum seekers.
Prior to law school, Mara worked as legal assistant for an immigration law firm. She is passionate about immigrant rights and strives to achieve best results for her clients. Mara enjoys traveling, bicycling, hiking, and paddleboarding. She grew up in Oregon and is proud to call Oregon her forever home.
